Bachelorette

Regan (Dunst), an overachieving perfectionist, panics when she learns that her plus-size friend, Becky, is marrying a wealthy New Yorker. She enlists the rest of their old high school clique — ditzy beauty Katie (Fisher) and sarcastic drifter Gena (Caplan) — to aid in her duties as maid of honor. But when they arrive in Manhattan for the wedding, the girls find their hard-partying ways at odds with Becky’s new life. A bachelorette party unfolds into a wild night that threatens to destroy the wedding and sends the girls on a race against the clock to fix the damage and get Becky down the aisle. Based on her critically-acclaimed play “Bachelorette,” Leslye Headland writes and directs this comedy about women, friendship, and growing up.
